You Get What You Pay For

I've seen a rise in "photographers" lately on social media. Someone picks up a DSLR camera, or even the latest iPhone, and decides they're going to be a photographer. Then they get out there on social media and they post an ad for hour long sessions for $50 with tons of free images. This is where that saying comes into play: "You get what you pay for?"

Why do good photographers charge so much you ask? Let me break it down. There's so much more than just picking up a camera and shooting in auto mode. There are countless hours a photographer spends educating themselves. Then there are more countless hours we spend learning how to edit a photo and making sure we give you nothing but the absolute best representation of yourself and your family.

When you see a photographer charging $250 or more for a photo session, you can be rest assured that that photographer is a true professional. They've got the education, training and experience that comes with taking top quality photos. They're doing more than just trying to make a quick buck. They have a passion and will go out of their way to make sure they capture moments that you will always treasure. They stand behind their work with a contract.

Photography is my passion. I absolutely love what I do. I wouldn't trade it for the world and I make sure to reflect it in my photos. Every. Single. Time.
